With elections looming across multiple layers of government in California, the technology behind the ballots is drawing interest from the public as well as those in the tech industry.

To that end, the recent Los Angeles Digital Government Summit offered an opportunity to hear from Aman Bhullar, the chief information officer and assistant registrar-recorder for Los Angeles County.

Bhullar, who was a featured panelist during a conference breakout session on artificial intelligence, took a moment during the event to give some brief insights to Industry Insider — California. The video has been edited lightly for brevity.
