The conference is presented by Government Technology magazine, sister publication to Industry Insider — California, and is open to those working in the public sector. In addition to keynote addresses by retired Navy commander Mary Kelly and technology strategist Jack Shaw, several of Southern California’s top technology leaders will speak, including Peter Loo, acting chief information officer for Los Angeles County; and Ted Ross, CIO for the city of Los Angeles.
Numerous breakout sessions are scheduled throughout the day, featuring speakers and panelists from the cities of Los Angeles and Long Beach and L.A. County government, among other entities. The breakouts and the public-sector participants include:
