Irvine Unified Issues RFP to Address Current, Future Tech Needs

The school district, based in Orange County, is looking for a wide array of technologies to meet the current and future needs at several school sites and administrative locations.

Irvine Unified School District in Orange County issued a request for proposals for technology equipment and peripherals for the “current and future needs of multiple school sites and administrative office locations.”

The bid package posted April 22 lists a wide array of desired education technologies — from laptops, tablets and printers to networking hardware and software licenses. The RFP also lists the need for IT services, including configuration, engineering and audio video installation services.

Some of the short list bid items include:
  • Chromebooks
  • HP LaserJet printers
  • Aruba networking hardware
  • Epson projector equipment

A pre-bid conference will be held virtually at 1 p.m. May 2. Questions and substitution requests regarding this bid must be submitted via email before 12 p.m. May 15.
