The application stack monitoring firm New Relic has a new strategic account executive in Jim Jennings.
If that name sounds familiar, it’s likely because Jennings has spent more than two decades in the IT industry working with companies such as Allied Network Solutions, Citrix, and most recently, Datadog, where he served as the Northern California SLED enterprise account executive.
Jennings outlined the company's trajectory via email.
"New Relic is a prominent player in the software analytics and monitoring space, providing a full-stack observability platform that helps organizations monitor and optimize their applications and infrastructure. Founded in 2008, the company has significantly expanded, establishing offices in 17 cities globally," he wrote. "Its platform is utilized by various sectors, including public sector entities across the United States. Many California state agencies, federal departments, municipalities, and local governments use New Relic's tools to ensure effective system performance and reliability."
That includes some very large customers.
"In addition to public sector adoption, several well-known commercial and nonprofit organizations leverage New Relic's capabilities," he wrote. "Notable users include Adidas, known for their athletic and lifestyle products; the American Red Cross, renowned for disaster relief and humanitarian aid; and Ryanair, a major airline known for its budget travel options. These partnerships showcase New Relic's versatility and reliability across different industries and organizational needs."
Jennings has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management and operations from William Jessup University, and holds professional credentials from Cisco, CompTIA and Citrix.
