State government leaders and industry experts will gather virtually Friday for “State of Technology -- California Industry Forum,” to offer their inside views on the trends, opportunities and budget forecasts driving California’s $11 billion government IT market.
State Controller Betty T. Yee is the top elected official who will speak at the event, scheduled for 11 a.m. Joining Yee in addressing the state of technology in California will be state Chief Information Officer Amy Tong, director of the California Department of Technology. Other speakers include ; and Joe Morris, vice president of research for the Center for Digital Government, a component of Techwire parent company e.Republic.
