Ash Roughani, founder of Code for Sacramento and now program manager in the Mayor's Office for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, will field questions and provide information about the city's new Rapid Acceleration Innovation and Leadership in Sacramento (RAILS) grant program at a meetup tonight in Sacramento.
The session starts at 7 p.m. at The Urban Hive at 1931 H Street in Sacramento.
The RAILS grants are one component of a City Hall tech program Sacramento is developing to fund apps, conduct civic innovation projects and help attract and retain local startups.
As much as $1.5 million will be available via the RAILS grants.
