The Lottery is looking for a manager for its Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). Lottery seeks a Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional candidate who will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the EPMO’s work and staff. Duties and responsibilities:
- Establish, maintain and continuously improve project management processes and standards; formulate future long-range vision and objectives; align, review implementation, and ensure conformance of the EPMO with organizational policies and objectives
- Ensure continuous improvement of project management standards, guidelines, processes, procedures, methodologies, templates and other supporting materials
- Drive the EPMO strategic oversight, administration and collaboration with the organization’s executives, business and IT stakeholders to provide enterprise-wide guidance, governance, standardized processes and project portfolio management frameworks, best practices, tools and techniques

Architecture and Engineering Chief

The office is seeking a candidate to provide architectural and engineering direction to multidisciplinary product delivery teams. They will supervise a team of state platform architects, integration architects, domain/data architects, data engineers and platform configurators/engineers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting the Child Welfare Services - California Automated Response and Engagement System (CWS-CARES) director of product in maintaining and realizing the product road map, with responsibility for the iterative specification of the CARES domain model (including the event model), shared services, data services, converted data and integration (data exchange) points
- Focusing on the team’s professional development, including technical skills/certification and domain knowledge development, and on insuring that they produce high-quality work, including useful technical artifacts, as members of product delivery teams
- Vendor management and monitoring contractors’ performance and quality of deliverables via the Work Order Authorizations (WOAs) process

This role is responsible for the creation and delivery of architectural documentation, interagency agreements, reporting, data gathering, data analytics, metrics and payroll data from multiple legacy systems to a new cloud-hosted software solution.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Leading meetings with partners and the solution provider to gather and establish service-level agreements for data exchanges
- Managing the change control process and policies for the CSPS technical team, including leading meetings or communications with internal and external entities to document, prioritize and plan any technical changes which impact the customer or project
- Developing and organizing documentation required for describing the data exchanges between organizations, or the technical environment which supports the data
