For the second time in less than a week, the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG) is soliciting vendors for a five-year service contract, this time for website support services. The RFP was issued April 1.

AMBAG is a public agency that operates under a joint-powers agreement that includes the counties of Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito and local jurisdictions. The association is funded through “federal transportation funds, grants and membership dues.”

According to the RFP documents, the association maintains a primary website and several other “specialty sites” that would fall under the scope of the contract. The association’s current website support services contract is set to expire June 30.

“[A] successful candidate must and will work within the Drupal content management system (CMS) version 10.2 (or newest release) for the AMBAG.org and PAJARORIVERWATERSHED.org website. Additional specialty areas are integrated within the primary AMBAG.ORG site,” the package reads.

Questions about this RFP should be emailed to Gina Schmidt before 4 p.m. April 10, and proposals are due no later than 4 p.m. April 24.

AMBAG also put out another RFP for a five-year IT support services contract last week.
