Funari has more than 30 years’ experience in engineering, systems engineering, sales and sales management. Most of his career has been spent in data networking with companies such as 3Com, Nortel, HP Networking, Brocade and Ruckus Networks. He has also spent time in the application control space with F5 Networks and in security with Symantec and Internet Security Systems. He is an expert in the networking space.
“I’m excited to join NetScout and be able to offer customers the ability to discover the root cause of problems in their network and application environments – whether on-prem or cloud-based or hybrid,” Funari said. “Also, the fact that I don’t have to compete with other network vendors and can actually help them make their network deployments better is a big plus.”
