The Nevada state senate has approved a $1 fee for DMV customers to pay for a new $109 million computer system aimed to improve online transactions and increase data security, according to the Associated Press. To fund the multi-year DMV modernization project, the Senate Finance Committee on Monday approved SB 502 that is expected to raise $10 million over the next two years.
