The state hasn’t released department-level detail yet, but the summary of California’s enacted 2022-2023 budget continues an emphasis on technology that has been a hallmark of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s administration.
The record $308 billion spending plan, and what it means for the technology industry, will be the focus of a live virtual briefing this week featuring Alan Cox, executive vice president of e.Republic and publisher of Industry Insider — California; and Dennis Noone, Industry Insider’s executive editor.
