The state’s Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking a contract for GPS and electronic monitoring services. The vendor will provide a central monitoring system with an integrated database that functions year-round, 24 hours a day. The system will provide daily reports and notifications of each tracking subject. All software will be based on the most up-to-date maps. The RFP closes on Sept. 21.

The county of San Diego has an open RFI for an electronic mail system for inmates. The RFI closes on Aug. 31.

The city of Irvine has requested proposals for an energy storage system with analytical software to assist in reducing the city’s electrical costs. The storage system that is offered cannot have upfront capital costs and will discharge power when costs are high, storing when costs are low. The software will monitor and verify the system. The RFP closes on Sept. 7.

Los Angeles County is seeking information for a public transit app. The RFI closes Sept. 1.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is also seeking information about software to provide tracking and education to probationary employees. The RFI will close Sept. 28.

Alameda County has released an RFP for vendors to maintain its current AVST CallXpress messaging system. The bid period closes Sept. 28.

San Francisco is seeking an online payment gateway and associated services for its Office of the Treasurer and Tax Collector. The services will include reporting capabilities and customer support. The RFP closes Sept. 12.

The city of Pasadena is seeking waste management software to manage online accounts and landfill data. The RFP will close Sept. 8.

Sacramento Municipal Utility District needs a vendor to create and support software for sending electricity pricing to client applications. The software must be compatible with OpenADR 2.0b and prepared for future updates. The RFP closes Sept. 6.

San Bernardino County is seeking a website builder for the county’s tax-defaulted properties. The site will include organization, posting, hosting and advertising for the properties. The RFP will close Oct. 2.

The city of Lodi is seeking a website builder for the city’s public site. The site will host information about electric, water and wastewater utilities. The RFP will close Sept. 11.

Riverside County will vote to amend its agreement with Dimension Data for the renewal of Cisco Smartnet Maintenance for one year. The total cost is $853,400.

The Riverside University Health System will vote to approve a five-year contract with Strata Decision Technology, LLC for professional services and cost accounting software.
