Here is a collection of tech-related RFPs and RFQs from state agencies that close in November. Most were opened in October.

 

The Office of the State Controller is seeking a vendor for a two-year contract to maintain a fire suppression system. The contract may be extended an extra year.

The Fenwal Novec system includes circuitry, insulation, hardware, and visual components.

Quotes are due Nov. 1.

 

The State Controller is also seeking Communication Access Real-Time Translation Services, including software to translate verbal language into written text. The assistive technology provides real-time output for people with hearing disabilities or individuals learning a second language.

Proposals are due Nov. 2.

 

The Judicial Council of California has a request for proposals due Nov. 2 for online event registration software. 

The software needs to be able to handle at least 8000 registrations. The vendor will provide training on the use of the software, advanced notice of updates and customer support.

The Council would like an automated wait list, conditional logic and customized forms to be included.

 

The Office of Systems Integration is seeking an IBM Customer Information Control System renewal.

The entire price of the contract cannot be more than $500,000. The contract will last from Jan. 1, 2018 to Dec. 31, 2018. The contract will cover about 20,000 authorized users on Transaction Gateway Desktops and 5,040 on Linux platforms.

The Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking a vendor to repair and inspect its Intrepid fence communication system.

The contractor will replace major sections of fence and cable leading to controller hardware. Testing of new micronet links, signal links, relay modules and all other replaced modules will also be included in the contract. The contractor will then maintain all computer and communications operations.

Bids are due Nov. 7.
