The contract value could be up to $20,000.
Alameda County is seeking a vendor to provide a California Law Enforcement Telecommunication Switch.
The estimated contract cost is $500,000 and could begin March 1.
The RFP/Q is expected to be released on Dec. 6.
The city of Chula Vista approved a budget of over $1 million to improve traffic signals and install fiber-optic/Ethernet communications.
The project will include retiming the signals and improving the system’s communication network.
The Sacramento Municipal Utility District is seeking vendors to provide 3G/4G routers, antennas, cables and other hardware.
The RFP will close on Dec. 5 and has an estimated contract value of $50,000.
Another SMUD opportunity includes a vendor-provided energy trading risk management solution.
The contract would include design, configuration, integration and training services.
Sacramento’s Regional Transit District is seeking a vendor to provide an automatic passenger counting system for the city’s light rail.
The vendor will provide the onboard system, the associated centralized system and necessary software. The system should include functions such as monitoring, maintenance and data download capabilities.
The RFP closes on Jan. 19.
Palo Alto is seeking a control room upgrade in its Department of Utilities.
The upgrade will include server, a video wall processer and a room design. Hardware, lighting, a sound system and existing systems must be included in the design.

Los Angeles County is seeking a vendor for Cisco UCS Servers. The RFP closes on Dec. 4.
The city of Santa Clara is planning on a computer-aided design to ArcFM Esri Geodatabase conversion and requires a vendor’s services.
The conversion will include 120 fiber cable segments, for a total of 65 cable miles.
The RFP is due Dec. 15.
