Social Interest Solutions, a Sacramento nonprofit organization that aims to improve consumer access to health and social services, said Wednesday that it is directing the activities of MedStart, the medical-technology incubator formerly under the defunct Sacramento Regional Technology Alliance.

SARTA announced in September that it was folding amid profound changes in economic development.

In October, SARTA’s AgStart program, launched in 2013 to accelerate growth of companies that develop sustainable agricultural technologies, announced that it was continuing on from new offices in Woodland.
