The city is hiring two civic innovators to help "improve the safety, cleanliness and livability of San Francisco," according to a Medium post about the 2017 positions.
City officials are looking for:
- Team players with a commitment to public service.
- Entrepreneurial self-starters.
- Embrace complexity and uncertainty and who are adaptable to change.
- Experience with human-centered design, program management and partnership management.
- Strong empathy and communication skills.
- People who are passionate about public service and bringing modern practices into government.
- Curiosity and humility to learn how government works.
They will help oversee the Civic Bridge and Startup in Residence, including project sourcing and management.
