San Francisco's Office of Civic Innovation is looking for its next fellows.

The city is hiring two civic innovators to help "improve the safety, cleanliness and livability of San Francisco," according to a Medium post about the 2017 positions.

City officials are looking for:

  • Team players with a commitment to public service.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starters.
  • Embrace complexity and uncertainty and who are adaptable to change.
  • Experience with human-centered design, program management and partnership management.
  • Strong empathy and communication skills.
  • People who are passionate about public service and bringing modern practices into government.
  • Curiosity and humility to learn how government works.
The fellows will be paid between $59,722 and $72,592.

They will help oversee the Civic Bridge and Startup in Residence, including project sourcing and management.

Applicationsare due July 21. The position is for one year.
