Save the Date: Los Angeles Digital Government Summit Set for Aug. 8

The daylong event, which is open to the public sector, will feature speakers and breakout sessions, networking opportunities and lunch.

The Los Angeles Digital Government Summit, which will bring together public-sector technologists and industry representatives to connect on innovative approaches, is scheduled for Aug. 8.

The conference is presented by Government Technology magazine, sister publication to Industry Insider — California, and is open to those working in the public sector. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. More information and a registration link are available online.

In addition to keynote addresses by retired Navy commander Mary Kelly and technology strategist Jack Shaw, two of Southern California’s top technology leaders will speak: Peter Loo, acting chief information officer for Los Angeles County; and Ted Ross, CIO for the city of Los Angeles. Numerous breakout sessions are scheduled throughout the day, featuring speakers and panelists from the cities of Los Angeles and Long Beach and L.A. County government. Also participating will be representatives from various sponsoring companies.

Networking opportunities and lunch are included in the day’s agenda.
