The Sacramento Municipal Utilities District, the Northern California special district for utilities, is seeking a vendor for BMC Control-M Workload Automation software.
The posting, which closes Aug. 7, includes requirements for licensing of the software and support.
The BMC Control-M software would help streamline business services by automating job scheduling and file recovery. It will also offer a way to transfer files and create a digital platform that makes job statuses visible.
Veteran Enhanced Technology Solutions has already expressed interest in the bid as a seed subcontractor. SMUD, which is community-owned, encourages seed and small-business contractors in its awards process.
