According to the State Contracting and Procurement Registration System, CDTFA’s seven purchases of IT services in the first quarter totaled $510,736 with rounding. Those expenditures included:
- $250,000 for project manager and business analyst services, in a California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) contract with Andes Consulting that runs from Feb. 15, 2022, through Feb. 29, 2024.
- $249,999 for Kofax support and maintenance with Intelligent Content Solutions, in a competitive contract running from Feb. 28, 2022, through Feb. 24, 2023.
- $3,588 for Mailchimp Services, in a “fair and reasonable competitive” contract awarded March 15 with Mailchimp.
- $3,382 for installation of five WAP devices and connections to existing Ethernet outlets using 2-foot Ethernet CAT6 patch cables. The non-competitively awarded contract, made final on March 2, was with Tel Set Communications.
- $1,800 for advertising with Facebook in a non-competitive bid.
- $1,800 for advertising with Twitter in a non-competitive bid.
- $167 for a basic annual subscription renewal for Mentimeter interactive presentation software, purchased Jan. 4 through Golden Bridge DVBE under a “fair and reasonable” contract.
