UC Davis Awards Enterprisewide Video Production Contract

The award includes all 192 graduate and undergraduate programs, including the university’s medical schools.

Video Streaming Services Company (VSSC) based in Sacramento has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide video creation and production services to all schools at The University of California, Davis, the company announced recently.

The award includes all 192 graduate and undergraduate programs, including the university’s medical schools, as is "the first of its kind to be awarded by the University of California System," according to VSSC.

The company said it has previously provided its services to UC Davis in a variety of settings and its staff has now been trained by the university in order to maintain consistent branding for the institution.

"We are very pleased to have been competitively selected for this important contract. It is recognition of our achievement of high standards in video production that our customers have come to expect," said George Hall, the firm’s president, in a statement.

VSSC is a CMAS-approved state contractor and is perhaps best known in the region for broadcasting public meetings for the California Public Utilities Commission, California Air Resources Board and the California Energy Commission, and other state and local entities.
