State government can "improve what we do" through new development techniques, skill building and sharing a "passion for government," Adam Dondro, assistant director at California's Department of Social Services, told e.Republic's Steve Towns at the California Technology Forum.
"I loved the idea of what government is meant to do. It doesn't always succeed but it's really there to serve those who need serving," Dondro said.
