We’re growing fast—and we’re seeking a seasoned SLED sales executive with a proven track record of building trusted relationships in state, local, and education markets. This individual will play a critical role in shaping how governments harness the power of technology to improve operations and outcomes.
Your Role in Driving Public Sector Growth
As a Sr. Enterprise Account Executive at Launch, you’ll lead the charge in building strategic relationships with California’s public sector agencies. You’ll work closely with decision-makers—from C-level executives to procurement leads—to understand their most pressing technology needs and help them see how Launch can deliver.
You’ll own the full sales cycle, drive multimillion-dollar opportunities, and act as a strategic partner to clients. Your ability to navigate complex deals, align internal teams, and move opportunities from plan to signed contract will be critical to your success.
In this role, you will:
· Drive Growth: Identify, pursue, and close new business across State, Local, and Education accounts
· Own the Relationship: Develop deep, long-term partnerships with executive, operational, and procurement leaders
· Lead Strategic Sales Cycles: From discovery to proposal to negotiation—you’ll manage it all
· Navigate Procurement: Work across public sector contracting methods including RFPs, CMAS, and cooperative agreements
· Shape Client Strategy: Help clients plan modernization efforts and align our solutions to their mission
· Work Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with delivery, recruiting, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and execution
· Track the Numbers: Keep accurate pipeline, forecasting, and performance data in our CRM
· Represent the Brand: Attend industry events and conferences to build visibility and credibility
How To Hit the Ground Running
· 7–10+ years of enterprise sales experience in the SLED space
· Proven ability to close complex deals of $7M+ annually
· Deep understanding of public sector procurement and contracting
· Strong executive presence and communication skills
· Experience leading strategic account planning and sales processes
· Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to manage long sales cycles
Bonus If You Have:
· Established relationships within California SLED agencies
· Familiarity with cloud adoption, digital services, and government tech priorities
· Experience with CMAS, NASPO, TDDC, or similar contracting vehicle
