“I’m eager to work alongside the IT Department’s skilled and dedicated team to implement solutions that enhance efficiency, improve services, and support the city’s long-term goals,” said Calderon, whose most recent role was IT director for El Segundo.
Assistant City Manager Courtney Padgett will oversee the city IT department as the search for Gray’s successor proceeds. He is taking the role of chief technology officer for Metrolink.
“Saying goodbye to something we’ve built together, shaping the IT department into the world-class technology organization it is today, is incredibly difficult,” Gray said.
