The California Department of Technology has released an Invitation for Bid to procure a contractor to provide an upgrade of its new VTS storage systems engines/cache, migration of those systems, a warranty upgrade and co-term existing hardware with warranty.
The services rendered will include the installation and implementation of two TS7760T’s 62TB’s cache each and two TR1’s each with 16Gb switches at the Department of Technology's Gold Camp location, and another two TS7760T’s 62TB’s and two TR1’s at its Vacaville location.
Project management and deployment services, on-site skills transfer, installation and migration services, and a support line for tape systems are also required.
