On a related note, Child Welfare Digital Services also has released a new Request for Offers through the state's Master Service Agreement (MSA) seeking a user experience director. Firms qualified under the MSA are invited to submit offers.

"The CWDS is seeking a single resource to fill the Service Design and User Research (UX) Director position to lead user research, service design and practice development for the Child Welfare Services – New System (CWS-NS) Project. The UX Director will create a user experience playbook, establish human-centered design culture and practices within the project and with our vendor partners, and drive the design of a system that impacts 400,000 children's lives each year. The UX Director will need to bring top-notch UX skills, leadership by influence and commitment to bettering the lives of vulnerable Californians."

The due date to submit RFOs is July 20. More information about the RFO is available here.
