RFI: Professional Training and Learning Management System

The California Department of Child Support Services this week released an RFI seeking input on solutions for a statewide child support training program and learning management system.

The California Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) this week released an RFI seeking input on solutions for a statewide child support training program and learning management system.

The department notes that it currently maintains an online electronic learning management system it calls the Child Support University. Also, the department says "much of the California Child Support training is developed and delivered by Local Child Support Agencies (LCSAs). There are currently 49 LCSAs that have disparate training programs and resources."

"DCSS seeks to create and develop a comprehensive statewide child support training program and learning management system to ensure child support professional development and training is consistent, relevant, and uniform in order to provide customers with high quality, standardized service across the state," the RFI says.

RFI responses are due Sept. 12.

More information about these bids can be found on the state's procurement website, Cal eProcure. This listing, gathered from official government sources, is included for informational purposes only. Details are current as of Aug. 4.
