The Department of General Services Procurement Division has released a Request for Information from potential contractors interested in participating in statewide contracts for desktops, laptops, rugged laptops and monitors.
"The state is considering establishing several contracts to ensure that the various brands of PC Goods (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung, Apple, etc.) are available on contract for statewide purchase," the RFI document says.
Responses to the RFI must be submitted by Dec. 12. Go to the state's procurement website for more information.
DGS finalized similar statewide contracts for tablets this fall. The contracts are mandatory for state agencies and departments, and are optional for local governments.
