The work is related to testing and implementation of the Compensation and Restitution System (CaRES) modification project.
"The Compensation and Restitution System (CaRES) provides a means to capture and process all the information associated with a claim to determine eligibility. Bills are also captured and processed for benefit determination and then payments are processed and sent to the claimants. The CaRES system supports approximately 200 users at the board as well as several hundred users throughout the State in dozens of county Joint Power (JP) and Criminal Restitution Compact (CRC) offices."
In order to be eligible to submit an offer, vendors must be qualified under the California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) for IT consulting services.
