The project would involve cataloging 10 document repository types and nine content platform types, reviewing 5 million electronic documents, remediating 4,000 noncompliant documents and providing training.
The agency, which has an estimated IT budget of about $23 million, aims to protect the state’s fish, wildlife and habitats by enforcing state laws, educating the public and issuing licenses and permits.

The state is hiring IT leadership roles at the Department of Financial Services, Department of Commerce and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, all with application deadlines of Feb. 2.
The commission seeks an enterprise solution to manage R and Python programming languages typically used for web development, data manipulation, machine learning, statistical analysis and data visualizations.
