Dallas Proposes $5M in IT Bond Projects

All four projects are related to an IBM city data center at 1000 Belleview Street.

The city of Dallas has proposed $5 million in information technology bond projects for 2024.

Four IT-specific projects are listed in the city’s proposed 2024 bond project listing:
  • $2.25 million for facility upgrades
  • $1.2 million for a physical access control system
  • $800,000 for an uninterrupted power supply
  • $750,000 for a fire alarm system

All four projects are related to an IBM city data center at 1000 Belleview St.

According to other solicitations released by the city, Dallas is also currently seeking an inventory management system for its Fire-Rescue Department and a case management system for its municipal court.
