Massock, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University Texas, has more than 23 years of contracting and procurement experience.
Massock joined the Department of Family and Protective Services in 2005 as a contract specialist, where she remained for three-and-a-half years.
She then transitioned to the Department of State Health Services as a senior contract specialist for five years before spending a year as a procurement project manager for the Health and Human Services Commission.
Finally, she spent nine years working her way up at the Office of the Attorney General from senior contract manager to director of procurement before joining DIR.
Massock’s predecessor, Hershel Becker, retired from the public sector in July.
