The Department of Information Resources has issued a pre-solicitation notice of its intent to choose a vendor partner to manage the texas.gov website as part of the agency’s Shared Technology Services (STS) program.

The chosen vendor will be responsible for modernizing the texas.gov website, applications and Texas by Texas (TxT) digital assistant native mobile environments.

DIR’s desired outcomes include a reduction of product integration costs, an expansion of customer and constituent adoption, strengthening of program integrity fraud protections, high satisfaction ratings, customer onboarding modernization, increased brand awareness and solution productization.

The website previously received a redesign by Deloitte in 2021.

The agency previously released a solicitation for a new multisourcing services integrator in December. According to the DIR website, a future solicitation for an STS program provider of technology solution services is in the planning phase.

DIR has tentatively scheduled the publication of an official request for offers in March. The agency will accept feedback on this pre-solicitation until March 4. Cassandra Holmes is the point of contact.
