The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is compiling a list of vendors that can provide school districts with emergency response campus mapping solutions.
According to a request for information (RFI), the vendor list will be used to create a directory of approved vendors for districts and education agencies to reference when shopping for solutions compliant with state safety standards.
Qualified vendors chosen to appear in the directory will remain listed for one year and are subject to an annual review cycle.
To be considered, interested vendors must provide an overview of their solution’s technical capabilities, user experience, implementation process, safety features and pricing structure.
Requested product information includes solution type, customization options, asset management, incident response features, visitor management, mapping technology and data security.
More detailed information about RFI No. 701-25-012, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. Questions are due by 2 p.m. Feb. 27. The deadline for responses is 2 p.m. March 20. Kem David is the point of contact for this request.
