Emergency Management to Replace Crisis Information System

The agency requires a backward compatible replication of its current system, which hosts more than 18,000 user accounts.

The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a crisis information management system (CIMS).

The new CIMS will replace its current contract, which expires on Aug. 31. According to the RFP, the agency’s CIMS hosts about 18,460 user accounts and 75 custom CIMS boards and applications.

TDEM requires a complete replication of its current CIMS environment. This includes its applications, workflows, bulk user account setup and data management.
