Health and Human Services Commission Plans March Publication of e-Health Record Opportunity

The commission plans to publish a consolidated e-Health record request for offers in March, and the request will cover more than two dozen facilities.

The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) plans a March request for offers for a consolidated electronic health record (EHR) solution, according to its procurement forecast.

Consolidation will include the Health and Specialty Care System (HSCS) and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

These entities include:


HHSC posted its pre-solicitation notice in September at Texas SmartBuy as Pre-HHS0013978. The full title of the requisition will be “Consolidated Health and Specialty Care Systems Electronic Health Record Software Solution Procurement.”

HHSC, HSCS and DSHS make up the oversight advisory team for the consolidated electronic health record project.
