Here are the public safety agency’s top five vendors for Q2, according to the comptroller’s “Payments to Payee” visualization. Amounts are rounded up:
- $37.5 million to the Department of Information Resources (DIR), offering technology solutions to state and local government entities
- $30 million to Deloitte Consulting LLP, which provides audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management and tax services
- $11.5 million to Conduent State Healthcare, which provides health-care systems to help reduce costs, create engagement and advance health equity
- $11 million to the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, a comprehensive academic health center within the University of Texas system
- $8 million to Vexcel Corp., a subsidiary of Microsoft that provides end-to-end cloud integration services
Following Ricardo Blanco’s retirement in June, HHS is currently searching for a replacement CIO.
