HHSC Invites Bids for Medical Guidelines Subscription Services

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has issued an invitation for bids from qualified vendors to provide web-based subscription access to evidence-based medical guidelines to be used by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).

The requested subscription must provide guidelines in a variety of health-care settings based on industry health-care standards supported by citations, industry-defined best practices that can be applied to quality-of-care assessments, medical items, procedures and services.

The subscription must be compatible with standard Internet browsers, support access for up to 50 logins or access points, role-based security access provisioning, license and storage scalability, built-in education and training, a search function by diagnosis or keyword and a data extract that includes unique reference IDs and descriptions for diagnoses.
