Before joining LDS, Smith spent 24 years with AT&T, climbing the ladder from customer service representative to client solutions executive for Texas agencies. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in communication from Texas State University.
Smith is an author of Pieces to Purpose: Unbreakable Women Who Refused to Give Up, a collection of stories published in 2024.
