The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has issued a request for offers (RFO) for a statewide provider finance reporting system (PFRS).

The requested PFRS, which will replace the current State of Texas Automated Information Reporting System (STAIRS), must assist HHSC in obtaining reimbursements through Medicaid administrative claiming services.

HHSC prefers a cloud-based software-as-a-service solution and will require system development, configuration, integration, customer relationship management software, transitioning, testing, training, system management, ongoing support and turnover.

A single contractor will be chosen to develop and support the provided PFRS, which must facilitate financial and statistical data collections, processing and reporting.

The requested system must connect to a system that performs statewide random moment time studies each federal fiscal year quarter, collect information from various programs throughout the state and include a fully integrated communication portal.

More detailed information about RFO No. HHS0014128, including all submission requirements and requests, can be found online. The deadline for questions is 4 p.m. Thursday. The deadline for proposals is 10:30 a.m. May 31. Andrick Reese is the point of contact for this RFO.
