The Travis County Hospital District (Central Health) is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive media monitoring platform and related services to support its communications and outreach efforts.

The request for proposals (RFP) outlines the district’s intention to contract with a provider that can monitor traditional, digital and social media channels; provide real-time alerts and sentiment analysis; and deliver analytics, dashboards and customizable reports.

According to the solicitation, the media monitoring system should include features such as keyword tracking, earned media valuation, social media listening and integration with press distribution tools. The solution must also support multilingual coverage in English and Spanish and include tools for correlating social and traditional media activity.

In addition to monitoring and analytics, the vendor must provide a searchable contact database of media personnel, electronic press release distribution capabilities and reporting on distribution performance such as open and click-through rates. The platform should allow users to manage distribution lists and include media attachments like images or video.

Central Health expects the selected vendor to provide at least five administrator licenses with customizable user permissions, along with training, mobile access and ongoing customer support. Support should include on-demand training materials, a dedicated implementation liaison and access to live help during regular business hours.
