Travis County Healthcare District Requests Data Governance Platform

The agency's data governance platform acquisition comes in anticipation of a new data warehouse solution.

The Travis County Healthcare District (Central Health) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a data governance platform in anticipation for a new data warehouse solution.

The requested solution must be cloud hosted by the vendor and allow Central Health to perform “data modeling, data cataloging, data management, metadata management, data ownership and stewardship, data storefronts, compliance and data policy management.”

Central Health has also requested training for its Joint Technology Data and Integration Team and Central Health Business Intelligence Team on use and management of the requested system.

Migration of data from the prior warehouse to the new data warehouse solution is not included in the scope of this request.

The deadline for question submission is 5 p.m. Jan. 26. The deadline for proposals is 2 p.m. Feb. 9. The Central Health Purchasing Office is the point of contact for this RFP.
