Two-Year Contract Will Require Separate Cost Proposal

Work will cover multiple projects across North Texas.

A special district is looking for a vendor to fill a two-year safety-oriented contract that includes a separate cost proposal.

The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is soliciting requests for proposal (RFP) and bids for a two-year contract to engage a consultant to perform and conduct lane and operational review of tolling and operations to include a lane audit, operational review and team structure review.

NTTA operates eight toll facilities: Dallas North Tollway, Mountain Creek Lake Bridge, President George Bush Turnpike, Addison Airport Toll Tunnel, Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge, Sam Rayburn Tollway, Chisholm Trail Parkway and 360 Tollway.

The scope of work includes:
• Lane audit
• Tolling equipment health and replacement recommendation
• Toll and ITS systems operations recommendations
• Roadway team structure overview and capacity model
• On-premise testing capability
• Transaction host technology and contract review

The contact person is Kent Brown. Each vendor must include in their proposal all required documents (including their cost proposal) and upload their proposal on NTTA Marketplace by 10 a.m. Sept. 27.

Proposals must be titled Document No. 1, and the cost proposal must be uploaded as a separate document titled Document No. 2, secured and confidential as instructed in the Electronic Vendor Response Guide.
