The California State University (CSU) system has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit submissions from qualified firms interested in providing a search engine solution to the Chancellor’s Office to serve both Chancellor’s Office and the 23 campuses’ internal and external users. The search engine solution will provide a web interface that can be easily accessed, managed, and navigated that offers robust performance and the functionality described in Section 4, Scope of Work. The CSU manages web applications and external websites that serve a variety of public constituents, all of whom expect an easy, streamlined user experience.

The California Office of Systems Integration (OSI) is requesting information to identify whether there are existing solutions that can meet state and county needs in the administration and provision of child welfare services and federal SACWIS requirements. Also, OSI is requesting respondent identification of the capabilities inherent in their existing solution offerings, custom services that would have to be developed to address state and county needs, and any capabilities of the existing offerings that cannot be met.

The California Technology Agency (Technology Agency) operates the Technology Agency Training Solutions Center in Rancho Cordova, California, to provide onsite System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Curriculum Services to the employees of the State of California and other government agencies. The audience for these classes may include local governments, special districts, public utilities, and other government entities. The Technology Agency is seeking a contractor to provide instructor led training courses in SDLC Training Curriculum. The contractor shall provide customized courses upon request.

TechAmerica, TechNet, and PARC are cohosting the evening affair which starts at 6:00 p.m. This is his first public appearance since his appointment by President Barack Obama in August 2011. VanRoekel is expected to share his priorities and vision for IT at the Federal level.
Veteran tech professional Shell Culp has been asked to serve as acting chief deputy director for the California Office of Systems Integration (OSI). Previously, Culp was project director for the Unemployment Insurance Modernization Project (UIMOD), managed by OSI for the Employment Development Division (EDD). In this new position, she will also serve as agency information officer for California Health and Human Services Agency.
