The city of Long Beach, the seventh largest in California by population, is in the thick of technology innovation.
With the “community-driven civic technology” effort LB Co-Lab, a smart city governance framework and more, the Long Beach Technology and Innovation Department (TID) has been tackling modernization. That includes next-generation resident services such as an AI virtual assistant, a new 311 app, a digital inclusion road map and the expansion of its fiber network.
On Dec. 2, TID Director and CIO Lea Eriksen, as well as Deputy Director Rob Centeno, will sit down with Industry Insider — California members for an exclusive briefing to talk about what the city is doing and how it works with its partners.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the Long Beach Marriott, with the briefing beginning at 10:30. For registration and assistance, contact Lauren Schoenberger. For more information about the event, click here.
