CDT, DHCS Issue Requests for Information and Services

The California Department of Technology and the Department of Health Care Services have issued requests for quotation and information, respectively.

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and the California Department of Technology (CDT) have put out calls for vendor assistance in two recent solicitations.

The first came in the form of a request for information (RFI) from DHCS for a fiscal intermediary maintenance and operations (FI-M&O) contractor to “provide maintenance and operations services in support of the California Medicaid Management Information System (CA-MMIS).”

The successful vendor will collaborate with the department, its fiscal intermediary business operation contractor and others to “operate and update the CA-MMIS, as needed, to ensure payments and electronic transactions are processed timely, accurately, and in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and policies governing the Medi-Cal program.”

Responses are due by 3 p.m. June 3. The point of contact for this RFI is the DCSH Procurement and Contracting Division.

CDT, meanwhile, has issued a request for quotation (RFQ) to renew its Ciena hardware support services through a one-year contract. Ciena provides “optical and routing systems, services, and automation software,” according to its website.

RFQs are due no later than 3 p.m. May 15. The point of contact for this solicitation is Tiffany Tran.
