The California Department of Technology has opened the application window for the 2026 Information Security Leadership Academy.
The 11-week program is open to current cybersecurity professionals working with state, county and municipal agencies across California, and will focus on technical and leadership development.
In addition to the training, participants will receive preparation for the Certified Information Security Manager certification.
Applicants who are new to cybersecurity leadership roles or aspiring to roles such as information security officer or agency information security officer are considered ideal candidates.
Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on June 8. All submissions must include approval from the applicant’s CIO.
