The California Department of Technology (CDT) has put out the call for applications for its 2026 Project Management Leadership Academy (PMLA).

The 10-week program is meant for public-sector professionals across all classifications who are interested in growing their project management and leadership skill sets. This session will run from May 20 through July 23.

The department notes that the program is most beneficial for individuals with limited experience in the project management space, or those whose experience was based largely in the private sector. The department advises that applicants have at least one year of direct or indirect project management experience.

Those interested in participating in the program must first submit approvals to their department’s chief information officer.

Applications are due no later than 5 p.m. March 23. More information about the program and associated costs can be found on the PMLA website.
