California's votes may take a while to be counted, according to Secretary of State Alex Padilla.

California's votes may take a while to be counted, according to Secretary of State Alex Padilla.

Several California counties have already switched to the new vote center model, legislated by the California's Voter's Choice Act, which has increased the number of mail-in ballots. Mail-in ballots that have postal stamps on or before Election Day will still be counted.
