The departments will provide vendors with information on how their companies can work with state government. Attendees will also have a chance to ask questions and provide feedback.
Vendor forums are used by several large state departments as a way to communicate their needs and priorities to the industry. Among those that regularly hold the events are the Employment Development Department, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Financial Information System for California.
The CDT-DGS event on June 8 will run from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and attendance is free. Registration is available online. The agenda includes:

- Updates on Cal-Secure, the state’s cybersecurity road map
- The Technology Stabilization Fund and the Technology Modernization Fund
