California Prison Industry Authority
The California Prison Industry Authority has completed the first phase of an enterprise resource management project that it began in 2021. The new system will give incarcerated workers access to the sort of technology they'd encounter when re-entering the workforce.
That’s one of the main ideas driving a deal between Geographic Solutions and California prison authorities. The company’s software is helping give soon-to-be-released inmates a chance to apply for jobs.
Other departments seeking management candidates include the California Department of Technology and the California State Lottery.
The Office of Systems Integration and the Financial Information System for California have new chief deputy directors. And two state departments are recruiting for chief information officers.
